PantherInsider.com's John Watson is reporting that third-round draft pick Charles Johnson has agreed to terms with the Carolina Panthers.

According to sources the Carolina Panthers have come to terms with third round pick Charles Johnson.

Johnson is a defensive end out of the University of Georgia who could see significant playing time with the injury sustained to DE Mike Rucker at the end of last season. Johnson is a small but very quick DE who will face competition from second year man Stanley McClover. Financial details of the contract are not known at this time.

Check back later this afternoon for more on this story.
